As you may be aware, this website is produced at WordPress.com, an online web page creator or WYSIWYG (“wizzy-wig”: What You See Is What You Get). A WYSIWYG editor allows you to use online templates to create blogs, web pages, navigation, hyperlinks and insert photos, graphics and multimedia. By creating the pages online you have no need to keep up to date with sophisticated software in web page editing and photo manipulation; it can all be done with online tools.

The availability of tools for the layperson flattens the technology playing field since now anyone can create a sophisticated website in minutes. What can you do with a website?
